Pristine nature so well preserved in unknown Belarus hosts wonderful array of eastern bird specialties. Belarus certainly has an ambition to become one of the prime birding destinations in Europe. The country is the eastern neighbour of Poland and variety of birds includes several highlights rarely seen in other parts of Europe. Imagine roads taking you through ancient forests, hundreds of meandering rivers, the biggest marshes and fens of the continent, while you hardly meet any traffic or even people. Truly an unbeatable paradise remaining intact and wild, no wonder Belarus conserves huge population of Bison, Lynx and Wolf. We have found good quality hotels situated close to the best birding sites. Tasty local cuisine and genuine rural life in small ancient villages are no less interesting part of our trip. Belovezhskaya Pushcha NP adjoining its smaller counterpart the World famous Bielowieza NP in Poland, then Sporovo Reserve protecting 90% of the world’s Aquatic Warbler population, and finally Pripyatsky NP that is a great place for sought-after waders offering a unique variety of primarily Eastern species.
